My friend was so happy when she had her birthday this week. She was pampered like a queen by her husband. First she was given an invitation to dine with him at an undisclosed place and gave her an afternoon spa treat which is her favorite relaxing hobby. She felt like a very special person even if they were married for several years already. You can feel how she reacted to his husband’s sweet romantic words and pampering gifts. Women should be treated like that even after being married for a long time.

Well there are men who really make sure that their wives get their share of attention from them. When I looked at my little boy I cringe at the thought that his school things, books and others are too heavy for him to wheel every day. He has a service that brings him to school and back to the house but I really think that it’s too much for little kids to bring all their books in one day. For Our Babies at Home

We have babies in our compound and they make us happier as we see them every day smile to greetings given to them. I just wonder is they’re using strollers like bob revolution se because they seem so active with their bodies that I’m afraid they might fall. Several years back I’ve used strollers to my kids and it was very useful to us especially my Mom who takes care of them when I’m away and at work. We opted to stop having helper in the house because of some complications so I go home early and avoid being caught in traffic because I have to take care of my kids. . I wanted my kids to feel that I love them and I have time for them when I’m at home.

This month has many red marks on the calendar because my list is full of birthdays from my own family, my relatives and friends. This brought me to search for gift ideas as I’m running out of gift suggestions for my recipients. Last week was my daughter’s birthday and tomorrow is my hubby’s special day too. Of course each person has different preferences and I should be ready with ideas on what they want for their birthdays.

Anyway it’s easier when it’s for my family as they say what they want most of the times. But with friends and senior relatives I’m searching for some gift suggestions and ideas like jewelries, bags, home decors, easter basket mom or something that I think would be useful for them. Anyway as my Mom always telling me it’s not the price of the gift that’s important but the thought of the giver. It’s the effort to think and buy a gift which counts the most and not how expensive and beautiful the gift is.

Sofa Bed for the Girls

Every last month of the year we love to buy at least one or two new appliance or furniture for the house to welcome the New Year ahead. Last December we bought a new sofa bed which can be a sofa during the day and can be used as bed at night when my two girls want to sleep downstairs. They didn’t want to sleep in their room upstairs on weekdays because they always have a hard time waking up. So now while I’m cooking I can wake them up early and they can get ready faster for school. It’s a quick decision to buy the sofa bed because we’re actually looking into leather sofa and cabin furniture days before that but when we saw the bed we immediately decided to buy it for the girls.

They love it and been using it already, that is until DH and I move to our room upstairs. We’re planning to leave the ground floor room and renovate the master bedroom so we can have adjoining rooms with the kids. Everything is now in planning level and I made the draft of the second storey floor plans myself. We’ll just have to save funds for the renovation.

Habits that Affect Health

I dropped by the nearest mall store yesterday for the husband’s birthday food for the church. I noticed that the agents of the call center in the mall are having their coffee break. But instead of having coffee or snack they chose to go just outside the doors of the mall and start their smoking. I noticed that it’s a common thing among their colleague and it’s becoming a pad. Didn’t they know that smoking punch cigars or any other cigar is not a good habit and it affects health.

Most of them lack sleep too because of the night shift and if they have that habit to go with graveyard shift I wonder what will happen to their state of health. Anyway I’m glad that not all of them are in the same habit because I also know some friends and relatives who didn’t developed such vice even if they’re working in the same field for several years. I think it also depends on the person’s perspective on maintaining a healthy mind and body. Just my opinion.
