I’ve attended and witnessed several weddings in my life and on most of those occasions I felt emotional. I’m a romantic at heart and I can remember college days reading romantic novels on my free time. I always thought that true love will eventually ends on the altar and have a happy life ever after. Well it seems that not all weddings end up that way but dreamers like me can only hope and pray for the best. Anyway when it comes to weddings I’m very conscious of how the hired photographer and videographer do their job. I observe how they do their pictorials and video coverage and wonder how it feels to be like them.

The holiday will soon be over but still I’ve got plenty of things to buy for gifts. In our church we’re celebrating the holiday on New Year ’s Day and we’ll give our gifts on that day including our gifts for our godchildren. Since today is a holiday also and no office work I’ll just finish all my online tasks and I’ll be shopping the whole day. Together with my kids we’ll buy food for the midnight dinner on New Year ’s Eve and the rest of the gift list I have. The other day I was looking at the mall store’s gifts for him offers because they cut down the price at 50% off the original price. DH will have his birthday next month and I thought of buying my gift for him ahead of time. I’m still thinking what he really wants for his birthday so I decided not to buy until after the holiday.

Excited About Hometown Travel

We’ve talked about our travel in Laguna next week and asked my brother if I could use his other car as our car is not fit now to a long travel. We’ll attend my nephew’s wedding and we need to be there early in the morning. The groom is my first cousin’s youngest son and they asked if we could all be there since it’s their last wedding in the family. When my kids heard about it they started planning things and activities that they will do in the province. It’s going to be all fun for them since it’s very seldom that they go for vacation in our hometown. Josh is asking about life in the province and the animals that he’ll be able to see there. He’s also inquiring if there’s horse equipment that he can use so he’ll be able to ride a horse while we’re there.

As early as now they’re planning where they will go first after the wedding and reception. My cousin is planning a swimming after the reception because the place is actually a resort. She asked us to bring extra clothing so when we decide that we’ll stay in the resort the kids can swim and will not worry about change of clothing. Oh it’s going to be a family bonding not just for my own family but for all of us including my siblings and Mom. We’re now getting so excited and even hired one of our church mate to accompany my husband in driving the zigzag road in the mountains. I’m looking forward now to that day.

Birth Announcements

My friend who is on the family way now is very excited about her forthcoming delivery of baby that she’s planning to have birth announcements soon. She’s hoping that it would be a baby boy because it’s going to be her last baby also. She has two girls already and they’re praying that they will be blessed with a baby boy this time. She’s telling one of our friends that it would really be good if she’ll have the same pattern of babies like me who had two girls and one boy. Well we didn’t really asked for a boy as we would be happy to have three girls if God has given us another girl instead of a boy. It’s just a real blessing that He’s given us our Josh, a very charming baby boy who now has grown up to be a very loving and smart kid.

I’ve met one of my friends last Sunday and he was very happy because they’ve won in raffle promo they joined a month ago. The only worry of my friend is how to control the number of guests since it’s a common habit of others to go along to every party that they know. Wedding Covenant

One of the unforgettable events in my life was when I got married, accepting Ed as my lifetime partner. After almost two years of engagement we decided to bind our love covenant and bow in the presence of the Almighty God fifteen years ago. Our parents gave us the blessing to set the date of the wedding and they also help us to choose sponsors or persons to stand in our side as our second parents. In order to formally invite in advance our extended families, cousins, friends and other office mates in that time we used wedding invitations, wherein detailed the date, and exact venue of the wedding and reception. We personally brought or hand over the to the house of our expected guest and their respective families.
